FSE provides student-athletes with compensation for NIL work, as well as representation, consultation, financial literacy education, legal support, accounting services, and personal brand development.

Emanuel Brown Ed.D
Founder/Ceo
Emanuel Brown is a dynamic sports executive, educator, and advocate with a unique background spanning professional athletics, education, and public service. As Head of Sports at Baron Davis Enterprises and founder of Freeman Sports Entertainment, he has led athlete branding, NIL consulting, and sports development initiatives for elite high school talent and emerging sports organizations. A former assistant coach at East Los Angeles College, Emanuel helped guide the team to a Final Four appearance and a 100% scholarship placement rate, as featured in Netflix’s Emmy-nominated Last Chance U: Basketball. Emanuel is also a published author and frequent speaker on NIL legislation, sports equity, and athlete empowerment, having lectured at NYU and CSU Dominguez Hills. His work reflects a deep commitment to holistic athlete development, community impact, and shaping the future of sports through innovation, leadership, and education.

Emanuel Brown

Founder of the Freeman Sports Agency. He is native of Los Angeles, California and completed his undergraduate studies at CSU, Dominguez Hills, earned his master’s degree from Long Beach State in Sport’s Management and is now a Doctoral Candidate at USC. He is currently completing his dissertation on the NIL and its impact on collegiate athletic recruitment.
He spent the beginning of his professional career as an Asst. Basketball Coach at CSU, Dominguez Hills, and has also contributed to the City of Los Angeles as a counselor and teacher. After early retirement from a 13-year stint in the fire service, he decided to chase a lifelong dream of working in the sports/entertainment industry
Currently, he volunteers his time as an assistant coach with the men’s team at East Los Angeles College while managing the Freeman Sports Agency.
Baron Davis
Business/Basketball Consultant
Baron Davis is a two-time NBA All-Star, entrepreneur, and one of the most dynamic point guards of his generation. A Los Angeles native, Davis starred at UCLA before being selected 3rd overall in the 1999 NBA Draft. Over a 13-year NBA career, he played for the Hornets, Warriors, Clippers, Cavaliers, and Knicks, known for his explosive athleticism, clutch performances, and  basketball IQ. He famously led the 8th-seeded Golden State Warriors to a historic playoff upset over the top-seeded Dallas Mavericks in 2007. Off the court, Davis has become a prominent figure in media, tech, and sports business, founding several companies and advocating for community empowerment through sports, education, and storytelling. His commitment to mentoring youth and growing the game continues to leave a lasting impact well beyond the hardwood.
Coach Kenneth Hunter

Coach Hunter is recognized as one of the top junior collegiate recruiters in the country. He has recruited and mentored five SCC-North Players of the Year, one State Player of the Year, seven All State players, and over 40 SCC-North First Team All-Conference selections in 19 years as an assistant coach within the California Community College system. He was named one of 50 Most Impactful Coaches in JUCO Men’s Basketball in 2020.
“Coach Ken” also contributes his expertise in the high school ranks and is widely regarded as a significant figure on the west coast basketball scene. He has also been featured on Netflix’s Last Chance U: Basketball Series

Craig "Rhino" Smith

Craig Smith is a former professional basketball player and respected figure in player development and coaching circles. A standout at Boston College, Smith earned All-American honors and finished his collegiate career as one of the school’s all-time scoring leaders. He was selected in the 2006 NBA Draft and played six seasons in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, and Portland Trail Blazers. Known for his physicality and high basketball IQ, Smith transitioned into coaching and mentorship following his playing career, working with young athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. His passion for the game and emphasis on fundamentals have made him a sought-after trainer and mentor in the basketball community.
Cherif Zain

For over 40 years Cherif Zein has been working with soccer players from all over the world. His players have matured into top-flight division 1 collegiate players for the top colleges in the country as well as their countries national teams and professional clubs throughout the world. Cherif was the Technical Director for F.C. Barcelona U.S.A., which was founded in 1999.
Cherif has made a conscious and successful effort to bring together children and coaches from all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds to work together as a united entity. Through the international tours, Cherif’s teams have shattered the cultural, political, and religious barriers that have existed in the past and he continues to contribute to the game as a coach, player development guru, counselor and consultant.
